Just last week, it was announced that Brown Advisory, a Baltimore-based independent investment firm, began investing in one of the most atrocious animal testing labs in the world, Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS). This investment made Brown the second largest institutional investor in Huntingdon Life Sciences. HLS has been exposed in several undercover investigations revealing such things as employees beating beagle puppies, dissecting fully conscious unanesthetized animals, and falsifying scientific data. Brighton's Restaurant has refused our attempts to simply discuss our concerns about animal cruelty in foie gras production.  Brighton's is owned by and located inside the InterContinental Hotel in Baltimore.  Please let the hotel know you will not be staying there until foie gras is gone from Brighton's, it only takes a minute and can go a long way for animals:

Highly successful Italian restaurant Della Notte, located in downtown Baltimore, serves foie gras on holidays and occasionally as a special item.  Della Notte has agreed not to serve foie gras (as was originally planned) this Valentine's Day. 

Please send thank you emails to General Manager Rita, Rita@DellaNotte.com, and ask that she kindly agree to never serve foie gras again.  Also mention that you only dine at restaurants that do not serve foie gras, and recommend that Della Notte add some vegan menu options.  Della Notte's website is http://dellanotte.com.  (Their online contact form does not appear to be working, so please contact Rita directly.)  You may also call Della Notte at 410-837-5500.  Thank you!
